The XS Sand Washer operates on a straightforward yet effective mechanism to clean and dehydrate sand and gravel. Here’s how it works:
When the XSD Sand Washer is in operation, the motor drives the impeller to rotate slowly through the coordinated action of a triangular belt, reducer, and gear system. Sand and gravel are fed into the wash trough via the feed trough. Inside the trough, the materials are agitated by the rotating impeller, causing them to roll over and grind against each other. This process effectively removes surface impurities and breaks down the water vapor layer surrounding the sand particles, facilitating efficient dehydration.
Simultaneously, water is added to create a powerful water flow that rinses away residual impurities and foreign matter, ensuring thorough cleaning. The clean sand and gravel are then lifted by the blades of the impeller and discharged into the outlet trough as the impeller continues to rotate.
This completes the sand washing process, delivering high-quality, clean sand and gravel for various applications.
