
Gold ore processing method
1 Gravity separation of gold ore: The gravity separation process relies on the joint action of dielectric fluid and various mechanical forces to form comfortable loose layers and separation conditions to obtain particles of different densities and sizes. Since the density of gold minerals is much greater than that of gangue minerals, a gravity separation process should be used for gold ores containing gold particles. Gravity separation method is only applicable to monomer dissociated gold ore (sand gold).


2、Flotation separation of gold ore: First, feed the slurry into a flotation machine, add chemicals and stir thoroughly. When mixing, use air to attach the gold particles to the bubbles. Scrape off air bubbles floating on the surface to separate the gold particles and impurities. The process consists of four parts: ingredients, stirring, aeration and foam scratching.
Crushing and sieving stage
Large pieces of gold ore need to go through coarse and fine crushing processes to break into a suitable particle size. The crushing process forms a closed loop. After the material that does not meet the requirements is screened by a vibrating screen, it will be crushed twice until the particle size requirements are met.
Grinding stage
Materials with dimensions of 0-25 mm are evenly fed into a ball mill for grinding and screened through a spiral grader. Materials that do not meet the requirements are sent to the ball mill to continue grinding; they are ground into finer particles to prepare for the next step of ore dressing;
Ore dressing stage
At this stage, the specific ore dressing method is determined based on the material conditions. The core equipment of this stage: spiral chute, spiral grader, vibrating screen, flotation machine.
Drying stage
The obtained gold powder was sent to a dryer to dry, and a fine gold powder was obtained.
The rocker vibration table ore dressing uses the combined action of mechanical stone slab symmetrical reciprocating motion and the inclined water flow on the inclined bed surface to make the mineral loosely layered and partitioned on the bed surface, thereby separating gold from other minerals according to different densities. Advantages: The gold selection is stable and reliable, the ore distribution is clearly visible, the ore enrichment rate is high, and the required ore can be sorted at one time.


Helical Concentrator The spiral concentrator is installed vertically, and the slurry is naturally fed from high to low, creating an inertial centrifugal force in the rotating oblique flow rate. Depending on the specific gravity, particle size and shape of the ore, the gravity and centrifugal force of the cyclone separator are used to separate the gold concentrate. Advantages: lighter weight, smaller footprint, stable ore dressing, and high recovery rate.
Flotation machine uses a motor triangle belt to drive the impeller to rotate, generate centrifugal action, and form negative pressure. Foam flotation uses the hydrophobicity of gold to separate it from gangliths, thereby recovering fine gold and ultrafine gold particles. Advantages: High foam refinement degree, increased flotation accuracy by 3-5%, and high operating efficiency.


Magnetic separators In actual production, gold concentrates are usually doped with other magnetic substances, such as iron impurities, so a magnetic separator is required to separate impurities before further finishing. The dynamic magnetic system is designed for easy sorting, and the grade of the original ore can be increased by 1-4 times, thereby achieving the effect of efficient recovery of gold concentrate. Advantages: Stable magnetic field strength, low energy consumption of equipment, and low failure rate.
