The shaking table is applicable to the separation of fine and fine-grained rare metals, ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals, precious metals and other ores and coal. It can not only be used as an independent beneficiation operation, but also be used in combination with jigs, spiral concentrators, centrifugal concentrators, etc. or other beneficiation methods. This equipment separates minerals according to the specific gravity difference of the minerals to be selected and their layering performance in the reciprocating asymmetric motion and the transverse water flow on the inclined table surface. The sorting process of the 6S shaker is the result of a combination of mechanical vibration and inclined water flow:
Feeding: Slurry (mineral particles mixed with water) is evenly conveyed through the feed chute to the head of the bed (also known as the countertop).
Bed movement: Driven by a transmission mechanism (usually a cam lever type or an eccentric linkage), the bed surface does asymmetrical reciprocating motion:
Forward Stroke: Slower speed with less acceleration.
Return stroke: Faster speed and greater acceleration.
This asymmetrical movement facilitates longitudinal (along the length of the bed) stratification and migration of particles according to density.
Slope flow: Clean water (flush water) flows across the bed surface from the side opposite the feed tank (high end). The water flow covers the entire surface of the bed, creating a thin layer of inclined water flow.
Particle stratification and zoning:
Longitudinal stratification: Under the action of shear and inertial forces of reciprocating motion of the bed, the ore particles are loose and layered on the bed. The high-density particles settle to the bottom layer, and the low-density particles are in the upper layer.
Transverse zoning: Under the action of transverse water flow, the upper layer (low density) particles are subjected to a large flow impulse and are washed farther; The lower layer (high-density) particles are less affected by the water flow, and are mainly affected by the friction and inertia force of the bed surface, and move towards the concentrate end (opposite the transmission end).
Comprehensive motion trajectory: Particles with different densities and particle sizes, with different directions of resultant force for longitudinal and transverse movements, finally form a fan-shaped zone from the ore feed end to the concentrate end and from the high end to the low end on the bed surface. The high-density particles (concentrate) are concentrated near the drive side (high-end), the medium-density particles (medium-ore) are in the middle area, and the low-density particles (tailings) are washed to the farthest tailings end (low-end).
Product collection: There is a dividing plate (ore separation plate) at the end of the bed, which separates the strips of different grades, and the concentrate, medium ore and tailings flow into the corresponding ore connection tank for discharge.
