Core working principle: multi-stage crushing, stone on stone & stone on iron The vertical shaft compound crusher cleverly combines multiple crushing principles to achieve an efficient and energy-saving crushing process: Material free fall feeding: Material falls vertically from the top feed port into the center of the high-speed rotating rotor. Rotor accelerated ejection: The material distribution cone on the rotor evenly distributes the material to each flow channel.
The material is accelerated to a very high linear speed (usually 60-85 m/s) by the wear-resistant ejection head in the flow channel and violently ejected along the tangential direction of the rotor.
First stage crushing – rock on rock: The high-speed thrown materials first hit the free-falling material lining in the eddy current crushing chamber (“rock on rock”). The violent impact and collision cause the materials to break against each other, significantly reducing the wear of wear-resistant parts.
Second stage crushing – rock hitting iron: The materials not crushed by the first stage and the materials that rebound hit the surrounding guard plate or impact block at high speed (“rock hitting iron”), resulting in further impact crushing.
The third stage of crushing – material impact: A strong vortex airflow is formed in the crushing chamber, and the materials collide, rub and grind against each other many times in the chamber to achieve finer crushing.
Finished product discharge: The material that meets the particle size requirements is discharged from the bottom discharge port. The particle size can be controlled by adjusting the rotor speed, feed amount, gap between the impact block (or peripheral guard plate) and the end of the throwing head, etc.

The material obtains huge kinetic energy in the cavity, with strong impact crushing force and large crushing ratio (usually up to 15-40). The finished products are mostly cubic with clear edges and corners and full grains, which particularly meet the standards of high-quality construction sand (machine-made sand). The particles have fewer cracks inside and higher compressive strength, which improves the performance of concrete. The gradation (ratio of different particle sizes) is easy to adjust and optimize. Low operating cost and easy maintenance: The “stone-on-stone” design significantly reduces the wear of wear-resistant parts (throwing head, peripheral guard plate), extends service life, and reduces replacement frequency and cost.

Flexible particle size adjustment:

By changing the rotor speed (frequency control), feed amount, gap between impact block (or surrounding plate), material layer thickness and other methods, the particle size of the finished product can be adjusted conveniently and quickly to meet different needs (such as coarse sand, medium sand, fine sand).

The unique air self-circulation system and eddy current crushing chamber design can effectively control the content of fine powder (stone powder) in the finished product and meet the requirements of stone powder content in specific projects.
